Do you hate taking initiative, hate working out, procrastinate things, live in unclean environment and rely on others for cleaning, remain unclean, don't have a fixed schedule, hate taking showers, do your work only when the deadline is near, lie yourself that you will start the hard work from tomorrow, but never follow and often question yourself," Why do you procrastinate so much?". If any of the above habits sound familiar, then you are a person who is a slob. Stop being proud. These are the patterns of a loser, and since you are following the same patterns, you too will be a loser if you don't changed your habits.
Why people are lazy?
1. We are too happy in dreaming.
We dream about becoming millionaires, buy planes, yachts, bungalows, vacation homes, creating our own empire. But at the same time, don't want to move a muscle. All our dreams are basically our deep fantasies. Don't want to do anything and have everything.
2. The idea of work starts you making plans on how to avoid it.
When we were small kids, we hated going to school, waking up early, homework etc., but were forced to all those things by our parents. But as you grow older, your studies became harder, and your own responsibility. When you are in a college, or high school, the maximum your parents can do to you is to tell you to work. But you have to take your own initiative. There is no supervising force making you to work. You have to make yourself your own authority to work hard daily.
3. Modern Technology.
Personalized home technology is itself designed to make you more lazy. You get food, clothes, groceries, secure tickets, reservations, decorations, books, talk to anyone verbally,textually and visually all in one place. And these products would be manufactured until we have to literally not move a muscle.
Now, does all these things make you permanently lazy? No, because you still love hanging with friends, playing sports, travelling, enjoying rides, hanging out, partying, going to friend's house. It turns out that when you get a chance to do any of the things mentioned above, you are not lazy anymore. You are just lazy when it comes to work. Your laziness is selective. It's based on inclination. In that definition, laziness is not a disorder, it is not something you are suffering from, it is an excuse. When a dog chases you, you run your ass off. This time, you are not lazy, because there is no choice. When there approaches some deadlines for your school assignment, you anyhow complete it in the last minute. You are lazy only when it's convenient.
Most of us are lazy, because we haven't taken full control of our lives. You are still waiting for some guidance or supervision to move your mess. You still don't realize that you have moved far off from that phase. Things demand your responsibility from your life.

1. Take control of your life.
You are on your own. Your parents are your well wishers and your friends see you just as a unit of fun, they have no interest in your investment or success. So, right now, your life is in your hands only. You are it's master. Take control of your life.
2. Push Yourself.
Now, since you are the master of your own life, there is no authority that can push you to work. You would have to do it yourself. Even when you don't feel like working, have plans for evening but have to do the work, drop out the plans. Scream at yourself if you find yourself wasting time. Make yourself disciplined.
3. Understand why you procrastinate.
The main reason for procrastination is that you have lots of amazing content available to waist your time upon. Weather they are youtube videos, vlogs, social media or a TV show, they keep updating to ensure you keep enjoying. Their goal is your permanent subscription. They are the ones who are doing their work amazingly. It is you who are wasting your life. You are the one who have to manage your time. Stop lying yourself, and have belief in yourself that you have the immense power in you to do whatever late that things might have gone.
