The Motivation you need to get straight to work!



Are you feeling lazy, procrastinating things, like being in the same spot for hours, using excessive smartphones, texting random people, wasting time with friends, push your work on others, hate working hard ? If anyone of these things sound familiar to you, then you are bound by laziness in the area of your work. 

The main problem is that your conscious desires doesn't last very long. You work hard for a day or so, but then switch to the same old patterns of your lifestyle. This happens because while working, our days are exactly the same, plus is requires large amount of concentration and mind to complete your work goals. As a result, you become stressful. So, to overcome that stress, your mind gives you constant hints about the above mentioned activities. As a result, you return to your normal procrastinating routine. Also, the temptation of desires like facebook, friends etc.. are too familiar that your mind registers it as your safe space. So, how can you keep going on when you don't feel like it? Follow the below steps and you will be able to change your mindset towards your goals, which will keep you engaged in your work.

1.) Your Environment is your enemy

The problem associated with your environment is that your mind associates your room with the place of chilling, playing games, sleeping, talking to random people on social media and so on. You have kept repeating the same activities in your room that the mind rewires itself and sees the place as the area where you usually chill and enjoy. This is why the rich people have separate rooms for work, chilling, and resting. It is all psychological. In your room, it is all jumbled up. Sometimes you work, and most of the time you chill out.


2.) Lack of variety of interest

Your fight is not against chilling and resting. You need that. Think of the reasons that compel you to chill. Some of them are social media, chatting with friends, watching hours of videos, watching pictures on instagram, and a lot other things. Now, think of the reasons that compel you to work. These are success, stability, survival.  You can see that the drive of you to work harder remains in your memory, while the drive to seek pleasures exist around you. As a result, you choose to go for chilling, even if you decided that you wouldn't.Now, you are from the generation of short attention span. You get bored of same things very quickly. So, You have to regularly update your goals in your memory to stay driven for success and stability, that comes as a fruit of intense hard work. You need to update your reasons, so that your goals can dominate over pleasure.

3.)  Experience and thought

A strong experience has the power to make you feel the same as when you experienced something. Whenever you experience something strongly related to your work, you are either filled with rage about beating your competition, or you are filled with worry regarding your preparations. Both of them are very strong motivators, that can be deadly against pleasures. therefore, keep experiencing things related to your work and goals. for ex: If you are after money, just go in to a restaurant you can't afford to eat in. Just sit in there, telling you are waiting for someone, and observe people there. These experiences will reignite the feeling of rage or stress inside you and you will feel driven towards your work!
