Why do humans like and admire beautiful people?

Beauty is the trait that humans always appreciate. Being it the age old civilization of MohanJoDaro or new modern world, the idea of looking beautiful always turns our mind. But have you ever ask why do humans appreciate beauty? What is so special in looking beautiful that the sight of a person whom we consider beautiful makes us crave to look towards them more? In this article, you will understand why people crave for beauty and why it has become one of the most idiotic human behavior.

Think of the time when you watched a movie or a video and you got so fascinated with the beauty of the actor/actress and subconsciously you liked their expression, or way of talking, or body type, or anything about them so much that you start to think and repeat their expressions or way of talking in your mind? Eventually, this likeness turns into your desire to look extremely beautiful and talk or act in the same manner as you watched those actors doing, so that the people around you will become so fascinated and impressed with you in the same manner as you were impressed with the looks of the actor. This is the reason why 21st century kids are so impressed with the plots of the acting, and you can find those kids trying to become a hero in their eyes, not a real hero, but the idea that is installed by the films into our mind. So, they drive the bikes like crazy, wear clothes that the actor wears, or what their mind considers trending or cool.

But where do the things start? The real idea about beautiful people is installed into our mind when we were a small baby. Being a small kid, our curiosity is peak high. A small baby is often praised with the idioms like "So cute" , or "beautiful kid". This action of the elders works into the impressionable mind of the kid so much, that it starts to admire beauty. Moreover, the kid also tries to copy and understand the elders. Since elders also watch and admire beauty, thanks to TV Shows and beauty products, the idea about beauty gets instilled into our mind from our most innocent age. This is not at all a good parenting. Instead of teaching the kid about breaking hierarchies and become successful, the elders without knowingly help the kid to appreciate beauty.

This is the reason why there are lots of people admiring beauty and trying to become cool or awesome to please themselves.
