JOB

During our student life, we always dream of getting a high salary job at MNC's. Well, at the initial stages, it will be great, as you will get a new experience and lots of things to learn, new people, new environment altogether. But as the time passes by, the job will become the day consuming show of home and work. It will be just like your school, where you had to go stick to the same spot for years, or probably, for lifetime. Though there are many people who would consider it safe and secure, but for some it would become real cause of frustration.

PROS

1. Flexibility of workplace

Though there are many corporates that doesn't allow workers to work from homes, many do. Not only in homes, but they can also work from their locality branch, or if they are somewhere out of the city, they can even work from the other city's branch of their corporate.

2. Promotions and Bonuses

Apart from fixed salaries, workers are promoted after some span of time working for the corporate. They even receive bonuses for their hard work and are appreciated through awards in the offices. The bonuses are also received by the workers when there is some festival, or a big event for the company.

3. Lifetime security.

Your life will become secured on the account of financial grounds. The companies even pay to employees when they or someone from their family suffers from health related concerns. They take care of the employees and their families.

CONS

1. Over burden of work.

Large corporations nowadays have tough competition. This leads to the race of MNC's to be at the top, which leads to workers being over burden with work. Most of the employees work overtime completing their deadlines. Also, the over-burden of work at the MNC's leads to dirty politics, as everyone tries to achieve promotion, and for that they do a lots of hard work, and even try to ruin other's hard work.

2. Low wages payout.

Although in most of the MNC's, people are paid nicely, but in small startups, the workers are paid comparatively less.

3. Individual recognition is highly affected.

In both large and small companies, the individual recognition is highly affected. In large companies, there is a large workforce, that makes it very difficult for you to be heard out on the other side of the wall.

In small companies, however one is heard more often, but the chance that your idea and hard work will pay you even more is quite less. So, the individual idea recognition almost leads you nowhere if you are a job guy.

BUSINESS

If you are interested in your own startup, this path comes with a whirlwind of challenges and difficulties. However, if you are thinking that in a business you would not have to work all day long, as in a job, you are totally wrong. To make a startup gain recognition and go successful, you would have to work initially almost double the time you work in a job. However, as your business starts to succeed, the work time graph goes down exponentially, and eventually a time will come when you would have to just keep milking for the things to keep going smoothly. This is one of the biggest pros of a business.

PROS

 1. Your kingdom.

There is no one above you in your startup. So, you get the independence of working the way you like, and instructing your employees to work the way you think would be most profitable. Although in initial stages you would have to work extremely hard in solitude, later it would bear fruits, and ultimately your empire would become more powerful.

2. More job security than a job.

Yes, a worker has no guarantee related to his jobs. He/She may not know why he got fired. This is not the case with start-ups, as you are the boss, no one can fire you from your own company. So, job security is more than the job.

3. Chance to experience a lots of things.

You will get to know a lot of things apart from your work related topics such as personality management, marketing strategies, attracting clients, holding company seminars etc.. You will also get a chance to visit a lots of places in search of your startup requirements.

4. Mental Satisfaction

You will be more satisfied from your work as you are doing this for yourself and not for someone else. Your betterment will make you proud of yourself.

CONS

1. It is very risky.

Setting up your company and making it larger is a very challenging task, that comes with lots of difficulties. You could even have to face days of scarcity. So, if you are prepared to face some heavy challenges, then only consider business as your option.

2. Investments matter a lot.

You would have to spend a large amount of your profits in marketing and other stuff, and most importantly, they should be in the right direction. Investing for a marketing strategy that is not good will not yield you the fruits. So, you would have to invest in right direction.

3. You would have to work overtime
