How can you manage your time and make out from most of your day?
There are already several articles and videos present on this topic, that means that you already have tried to manage your time, but was unsuccessful in it.
So, it can be easily figured out that the problem is not in the steps, the problem is in following those steps until your task is fully completed. You make a schedule for your day and and follow it with by your heart for 1 or 2 days maybe, but then you come back to your old patterns of living. This may have happened a lot of time with you.
Your intelligence, creativity and logic has nothing to do with time management. It is a different aspect altogether. First of all, you can easily figure out that your schedule or time table stands in direct opposition to what your day is right now. That is why you need to change your schedule for the day. Now, there is one simple answer why you fail to manage your time, if you were not happy with the way the things were going in your life, you would have changed it till now. But, you haven't, this is because there is something in your current lifestyle that you love to do. Think about what it is. It could be anything from gaming, texting random people on social media, chatting with friends for hours, watching endless videos, and the list goes on and on. Although you know that all these habits are destructive in nature, and will turn your life into a regret, if you didn't work hard. So, there is a fight in you. You want to change how the things are going in your life, but you like those destructive habits so much that you aren't able to leave them.
The reason why time management is one of the hardest things to achieve is that because you are not fighting an external problem,it's yourself. One side your of you represents desires and pleasures, and the other side represents your ambitions and goals. Despite of knowing the fact that your goals and ambitions will make your life better, you choose pleasure against pain. So, question yourself, are you ready to embrace pain and hardships and eliminate pleasure for your future? It is absolutely essential question for yourself, because until you make up your mind to leave pleasures and lead yourself to the path of self betterment, none of the videos or articles are going to work.
Now, here are some of the steps for your time management:
1.)- You require a burning desire towards your aim
Think about military, the most disciplined personnel on the earth. They are disciplined not because they are well trained or something, they are because if they don't, they wouldn't be able to survive that conditions, and will fall to death. Just like them, your time table will work only when your goal is of absolute necessity. Put your goal above all your desires. The desires are secondary. Your goals are primary. Be prepared to leave any sort of comfort for your goal.
2.)- Make different plans for different weeks
Once you are dead sure about your goals and aims in your life, start creating a schedule for a week only and follow that schedule. Try not to take things extremely high in your first schedule. This is because it will be easy for you to complete that and your brain will register your first success. Then, accordingly, increase the things in your successive schedules for next weeks.
3.)- Try not to modify your schedule altogether
After you have finished with your first successful schedule, increase the working hours in your next schedule, but please not change the schedule altogether. The reason for this is that you will require to adapt to those changes every week, and that will become more challenging task for you. So, just increase the working hours in your successive schedules, and once you land to the point where no more modifications could be done, make that one schedule your final one, and stick to it unitil you have fully destroyed your goal.
